Preparation comes first

We strip old paper, repair the plaster, fill and sand, and size the wall before the first drop goes up. On older Aberdeen properties with uneven walls, a layer of lining paper first gives a much better finish.

Patterns matched, seams tight

We plan where the pattern will fall before we start, so the main motifs sit centrally on a feature wall and the final, awkward drop lands in the least noticeable corner.

Wallpaper stripping

If you just want old paper gone and walls ready for paint, we do that too. We take care not to damage the plaster underneath and make good anything that comes away with the paper.

It depends on the wall size and the pattern repeat. Send us the measurements or we'll measure on the free visit and tell you exactly how many rolls to order, with a spare for safety.

Do you supply the wallpaper?

Most customers choose their own paper, and we'll advise on quantities and suitable types. We supply all the paste, lining paper and materials needed to hang it.

Can you hang wallpaper on a ceiling?

Yes, including lining paper on ceilings that are cracked or uneven.
